The design hotel Walliserhof in Brand is managed by the third generation. We, the host family Berthold-Meyer, see ourselves as part of a big team. This naturally includes our valued employees. But also our network of regional producers and suppliers, with whom we maintain a trusting relationship.

The Valais farm is open all year round. From massage to laundry - everything is done in-house by professionals. With up to 50 permanent employees, we are an important regional employer. Our employees are well trained and handpicked. Our philosophy: to work together at eye level instead of falling in love with hierarchy!

Individual minds with a lot of passion
Everyone in the team has their passion. Our restaurant manager is with each winegrower on you and you and has certainly a great wine tip for you. When it comes to smart cuisine, the eyes of our chef shine. Our "lingerie chefee" has been conjuring up shiny white towels and bed linen for several decades with joy and perfectionism. And sensitive people who have a very special feeling for our guests work at the reception desk. We are individual heads!

We are convinced: Only if each individual feels comfortable in the team and the cooperation runs smoothly, the guests can also be satisfied. And we find: Working time is also life time! Therefore the job should be fun and bring fulfillment. For a balanced work-life balance, we offer our employees a 40-hour week and many extras.

Latest example: On Tuesday evening the oven remains cold in our restaurant Hochsitz & Essbar. Then our employees have time for themselves. In team building - from cheese tasting to wine tasting - each individual is valued together.
