We serve 5-course gourmet set meals every evening: creative, ingenious and regional, without exotic ingredients and completely naturally spiced. We’re on familiar terms with our producers. We know where the animals are bred properly and have plenty of space, and say no to the “throwaway” culture. This means that we visit our pig farmer in Gstach in person, use the whole animal “from nose to tail”, get our milk and eggs from the farmhouse next door and serve game from our own hunting reserve. That’s why our Hochsitz restaurant is named after the high perches used by the hunters – and also because of its sublime natural view from the 3rd floor.
The excellent gourmet cuisine should be combined with an accompanying wine from our mountain cellar, a casual atmosphere and relaxing music. Homemade pasta and slow-cooked pulled beef tastes even better in the laid-back atmosphere, whether its inside or outside.
