Mountain biking and me - practically love at first sight. That's why it shouldn't be neglected on holiday either. My wife Tanja has no problem with that. Although biking is not for her, she loves to explore the surroundings on her own. The Valais farm in the Brandnertal valley was ideal for us: there we found plenty of togetherness in addition to our activities.
Up on the saddle
When mountain biking I am always looking for a new kick. The Brandnertal was a pure adventure with 110 km of marked tracks! Once I started early in the morning together with guide Jürgen from the Valais farm to do a Brandertal tour. Another time I went wild in the bike park between freeride and downhill tracks. Great services such as bicycle storage, laundry service and Internet point for GPS data were conveniently available at the Valais farm.
Get into your mountaineering boots
Less action, but at least as beautiful viewpoints: Tanja has explored the mountains around the Valais farm on foot. Once she enjoyed the sunrise on the moon top, another time she walked comfortably to Alpe Rona. Also the varied activity program with the personal trainer in the Walliserhof was exactly her thing. When the weather didn't play along on one day, we went to Bregenz to Lake Constance for a change.
Twice relaxed in the glacier spa
We were especially looking forward to the evenings. After the action of biking I was happy to relax with my loved one in the glacier spa. We indulged in massages, swam through the pool and sweated ourselves healthy in the Finnish sauna. And then there was something else: a romantic dinner for both of us. In the Walliserhof we have simply found the right combination of action and relaxation!
