Tennis
The European Tennis Academy offers tennis coaching and a choice of training programmes for beginners, as well as advanced players in a number of locations throughout Europe.
The programme "Mental Match Play" is a self-coaching course from the European Tennis Academy combining the latest developments in technical and mental training methods. Specially composed music stimulates the player in different situations during training, thus building a bridge between the body and mind. Players of all levels have the chance to improve their tennis performance within a very short space of time.
The Mental Match Play programme is based on studies carried out by the sport psychologist Kurt Wiederkehr . Over a period of 15 years, the behaviour of 50,000 tennis players has been researched and scientifically analysed. The music that accompanies the Mental Match Play has been composed by the music producer Tibor Lörincz in compliance with music-educational criteria.
Mental Match Play is much more than playing tennis to music. It is an integrated physical and mental training method. Instead of instructions and commands, awareness of your own body, the ball and the racket are sharpened. The area, on which you concentrate, is where the learning takes place.
