The Brand Valley offers slopes to suit every level of ability. Whether you are a novice or a future ski racer, you will certainly find uncompromising winter fun. The Brand Valley lift company team works tirelessly to ensure 53 km of well-groomed slopes.

Our comprehensive artificial snowmaking facilities will provide perfect slope quality even in the event of unfavourable natural snow conditions. Our staff members work day and night in order to offer you unforgettable fun in the snow.

There are a variety of cross-country runs that can be accessed directly from the hotel as well as the Tschengla high-altitude run.

cross-country skiing

This popular fitness training is not only suitable for the young.

The Brand Valley offers a total of 42 km of prepared cross-country runs.

• Innertal cross-country run: Length 6 km, groomed
• Parpfienz cross country run: Length 5 km, circular course, groomed
• Furkla cross-country run: Length 16 km, ski hiking trail, rolled
• Rona cross-country run: Length 15 km, circular course, groomed

Cross-country maps are available at reception.

winter hiking trails

A walk through the winter landscape of the Brand Valley covered in deep snow – a perfect way for body and soul to relax and unwind!

40 km of groomed and marked winter hiking trails are ideal for relaxing walks.

snow shoe hiking

• Every Monday, taster snow tour on the Tschengla plateau, duration: approx. 1 to 1 1/2 h
• Every Wednesday, snow shoe tour to the Amatschonjoch, duration: approx. 3 hours
• Snow shoe tour from Brand to Bürserberg with ascent of the Schiköpfl,
  duration: approx. 3 1/2 hours

Full moon snow tours

We can help you to organise a suitable hike. Further information about hikes can be obtained at reception. A minimum number of 4 participants are required for all snowshoe tours!

tobogganing

The natural toboggan run from Eggen to Brand can be reached daily from 9.00 - 16.00h with the “Dorfbahn” (cable car) – night tobogganing is a very special experience.

ice-skating

Every Tuesday and Thursday night, you can swap your skis, hiking boots or snowboard for ice skates at the Alvierbad in Brand. A well-lit and perfectly prepared natural ice rink awaits you.

Mulled wine (Glühwein), tea and small snacks are available next to it at Walter.
